1. Information we collect

Account information: Email or related identifiers used for One-Time Password (OTP) sign-in and account recovery.
Profile data: Information you provide, such as name, gender, date of birth, photos, dating preferences, and optional profile details.
Location data: With your permission, approximate or precise location to support discovery and matching near you.
Messages & activity: Content you send in the app (e.g. chat), interactions such as likes or matches, and safety reports you submit.
Device information: Device identifiers, OS version, and app diagnostics to maintain stability and security.
Purchases: If you buy optional Premium features, Apple or Google process payment; we receive subscription status through our payment partners (e.g. store receipts / subscription services) — not your full payment card number.

2. How we use your data

We use your information to:

Authenticate you and operate your account.
Provide dating and social connection features (profiles, matching, messaging).
Improve app stability, prevent abuse, and enforce our terms.
Communicate with you about service, safety, or support requests.

3. Data storage & third parties

We do not sell your personal data. We use trusted service providers, including:

Amazon Web Services (AWS) for infrastructure and data storage.
Amazon SES and similar tools for email or notification workflows where applicable.
Apple / Google for in-app purchases and subscription status when you choose Premium features.
Analytics and crash reporting as configured in the app to improve reliability.

We may disclose information if required by law or to protect the safety of users and the public.

4. Data retention & deletion

We retain your information while your account is active. You may delete your account and associated personal data at any time by using the AmouraLuv app: Profile → Account settings → Danger zone (enable delete, then delete account), or by emailing support@amouraluv.com. After deletion, we remove or anonymize data as described in our systems, subject to legal retention requirements.

5. Security

We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your data. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure.

6. Children

AmouraLuv is not for anyone under 18. We do not knowingly collect data from minors. If you believe a minor has created an account, contact us so we can take action.
